San Diego Film Foundation
The San Diego Film Foundation is a non-profit organization that is committed to providing new views through film. In fact, they host several events throughout the year in addition to the festival. Some of these even include a film tour for high school students and an Industry Insider Series. Plus, they are dedicated to bringing light to certain issues impacting the world today by showcasing films about the environment, military, women in film and more!
Film Festival Schedule
Taking place from October 19th to October 23rd, the festival kicks off with a Cocktail Party and a Studio Film Premiere on Wednesday. Next on Thursday, the awards ceremony honors some of the upcoming stars, directors and visionaries. Capped with the Gregory Peck Award of Excellence in Cinema, the Red Carpet is a no-brainer. Then from Friday to Sunday, feature films are playing all day. In-person showings are coupled with the Festival Lounge, where you can enjoy refreshments and meet other film fanatics!
