Coronado Island loop
Distance: 6 miles
If your main goal is to see Coronado, take this quick loop around the island! Clocking in at only 6 miles, this route is doable for riders of all skill levels. The path is flat, which makes for an enjoyable, easy ride. And because you’re looping around the island, you can choose anywhere as your starting point! Hop off the bike at any time to see the shops and restaurants more up-close.
Bayshore Bikeway
Distance: 25 mile loop
The Bayshore Bikeway offers some of the most beautiful views of the island! If you’re planning on biking in Coronado and want stunning views, this is the way to do it, with scenic views of the Bay, the Pacific, and downtown Coronado’s skyline. If you start in San Diego and end at the Coronado Ferry Landing, you can treat yourself at one of the many wonderful restaurants there! Portions of this trail are on the road and making the full loop requires crossing over to San Diego on the ferry.
Silver Strand Bikeway
Distance: 9 miles
The Silver Strand Bikeway is actually a portion of the larger Bayshore Bikeway! This means you can get some of the same incredible views without needing the Ferry. Biking on this path will take you from the Ferry Landing Marketplace to Imperial Beach, so you can relax in the sand after your ride!
