There’s just something special about live music. There’s a higher level of entertainment and fun that comes from live music more than prerecorded. Coronado has fully embraced this and there are plenty of places you can listen to Coronado live music!
Where can I find Coronado live music?
There are many places to enjoy Coronado live music throughout the week! Many local businesses have live music nights. You can see the full schedule here, but we’ve highlighted some of our favorites below:
- Wine A Bit
- Wine A Bit has live music performances every Friday and Saturday evening. Have a night out, sip some wine, and enjoy the music! Wine A Bit is in San Diego, so you can take the Coronado Ferry across the bay and back.
- McP’s Irish Pub
- Grab a drink and enjoy the fun atmosphere of McP’s! They feature local talent throughout the week. Tuesday – Saturday you can hear Coronado live music inside, and on Sunday afternoons the live entertainment moves outside to the patio (weather permitting).
- Stake Chophouse
- Every Wednesday evening, you’ll find live music by Matt Heinecke here! Visit the Stake Chophouse for food and drinks outside on the fireside patio while you listen to your favorite acoustic hits from the 60s – 80s.
Join in the music yourself
Every Thursday, Cafe 1134 hosts open mic night. This is a great opportunity for you to embrace your musical side and join in some Coronado live music! Take the stage for your chance in the spotlight, and enjoy the food and drinks while you’re there.
Summer concert series
One of our favorite events for Coronado live music is the summer concert series! Each year, Coronado puts on a series of concerts over the summer for the enjoyment of everyone in the Coronado area. This year’s series runs from May 26 – September 1 in Spreckels Park, and all of the concerts are free! You can find more information about the Summer Concert Series here.
