The Coronado Culinary and History Walking Tour will take you through the city and its history will come to life. Learn little-known facts and stories about the town and taste unique local food and wine.

You don’t have to love walking to enjoy this tour. The three-hour excursion covers approximately 1.5 miles of walking, and has plenty of built-in stops for tastings. The leisurely pace of the tour makes it enjoyable for all, and the route can accommodate both strollers and wheelchairs.

On this tour, you’ll hear interesting stories and tales of Coronado past and present, all while dining on fresh and tasty foods. You’ll also learn about the culinary history of Coronado and local cuisine information.

After taking the Coronado Culinary and History Walking Tour, most guests are full enough that they don’t feel the need to eat lunch afterwards. With four to six stops at local establishments, make sure to bring your appetite with you!

Because this is a food and history tour, if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please let the tour office know at least 48 hours in advance. The restaurants along the route will do their best to accommodate these needs and, if possible, exchange the standard sample for one that fits your dietary needs.

Booking a tour

To book the Coronado Culinary and History Walking Tour, book through the website in advance. The tours sell out quickly, so to make sure the day you want is available, book as early as possible.

The tours are $69 per person. Included in the ticket price are the food tastings and a goody bag containing: a bottle of water, an area map, a list of SoCal partners, and a snack bar (just in case all the food on the tour isn’t enough for you).

Tours run weekdays at 11:00am and Sundays at 2:00pm.
