We’ve heard it from the best of them. Just check out these roundups from Traveler, the Travel Channel, and TripAdvisor. They all put Coronado right up there at the top! While they don’t say it outright that it’s the best — they’ve got to play fair; we get it — here’s why Coronado Beach really is the best. And if you haven’t been to town yet, we’ll be honest: you’re missing out.
It’s the best beach destination for families.
Maybe we were born with it. Maybe it’s mica! As one reviewer put it: “Just across the bridge from downtown San Diego you’ll find Coronado Central Beach. Kids will love building castles from sand that glistens year-round thanks to the glittery mineral, mica, which is mixed in with the sand.” All ages can have a great time in Coronado, whether they’re just visiting from San Diego or planned their whole vacation around our little island. We are a kid friendly and pet friendly hotel, too!
